For 15 or so years I have been asking every hairdresser if I could have a shag haircut and every single one has said it wouldn’t work or wouldn’t look good due to having thin hair. I found HCL last year through Instagram and I have never been happier with a hairdresser. Carla is phenomenal, she did exactly what I asked for - which is often a lot of her own artistic vision because I just have a general idea & no inspo pics, oops. Her mum Sonia does my perm & the entire salon just feels like a welcoming, happy & warm environment where they know their regulars well and all have a laugh. It’s a classic gorgeous family run busy little salon & the prices are very reasonable! It looks like I can never move away from the mountains because I can’t leave my hairdresser 😂

I am really happy with my last 3 visits to Hair Couture. Shannon has done great cuts each time. It has taken me awhile to find a stylist in the mountains who is good with short thick hair and isn't scared to chop into it! ☺️🫶🏻
